MEDU VADA

Gits medu vada mix is a lentil and wheat flour blend for making savoury fritters. Medu vada is a South Indian breakfast snack, shaped like a doughnut, with a crispy exterior and soft centre. 

Combine this dry medu vada mix with water to form a soft dough, shape into doughnuts and deep-fry until golden brown. Keep the medu vada plain, or season the batter with ginger and green chillies for a hotter flavour. 

Ingredients: Lentil flour, refined Wheat flour, Hydrogenated vegetable oil (Palmolein oil & Sesame oil, preservative: butylated hydroxy anisole (E320)), Salt, raising agents (Citric acid(E330) & Sodium bicarbonate (E500(ii)), Asafoetida.
